    Plane crash VA

    Me and the wife..... her driving.....to get a pizza....ME..... hey LOOKY there......A10 losing control...….sharp spin then down into the ground...….Big smoke..... tried to call 911 but didn't get thru..... The crew got out before impact...…...WOW...…..1 block from my house.....Blocks are 10.000 feet here....

    Do you mean the E2C that crashed, that was my old squadron, what doesn't make sense is they claim 4 people got out ok, but that's a five person plane???

    Probably not in today's Navy. Have you heard the stories about ships not only manned with people not fully trained but significantly undermanned? All about the budget.

    Was at Talladega a few years back with some friends from Florida. Went a few days early and took my bass boat so we could fish Logan Martin before the racing started. On the way back to the c amp ground as we passed the airport my buddy notices the plane about to land had no landing gear down. This was the same day Jack Rousch (sp) crashed his P31 or whatever it was. Plane hit runway pretty squarely, spun a few times and passengers got off plane unharmed. Amazing thing to see.
