Suwannee River BBQ and River Ride November 5 - 8th - 2020

November 5th -8th . BBQ Friday and Saturday nights with massive bonfire . Come on by and have a good time , bring a dish if you like or eat what we have , there will be plenty ! BYOB . There is room on the property to camp if you like just let me know . See you there !
This is not a race , this is not a competition of any kind .
I just wanted to add that there are many full and part time residents on the river and their property and place on the river should be respected . PLEASE ..do not buzz peoples docks !! This is especially obvious North of Fanning Springs and up to 15 miles south of Fanning where are many homes on the river . . Slow down to idle near boat ramps as a courtesy to your fellow hot boaters as these.ramps have crappy docks with exposed metal etc . Thanks !

I see that someone blocked all of our east beach with some quasi-legal docks. He must have some real political connections to box in that much of the river. I wonder how long it will be before someone takes over the west bank. My family has two waterfront houses and the Gov flies over/photographs all of the waterfront property in Florida looking for changes to their Exposed Bottomland twice a year.

Yes unfortunately property was sold and that's what they did . almost looks Commercial in nature .

Google maps has a pin that says it's the Sante Fe and Suwannee Boat Ramp. Assuming you're talking about the beach hangout area where the 2 rivers join.

The Google map has somehow not been updated for close to a year and does not show the change to the whole eastern entrance that is now boxed with docks in 25 yards past the High Water Mark, where State property begins. They now have tall metal light towers with surveilence cameras on them. There is a multitude of threatening signs warning you to stay off the Exposed Bottomland [Beach] that belongs to everyone in the State of Florida. Someone told me they heard a wealthy South Florida resident bought the property [and some local politicians].

People on the water down here think that their property line ... goes all the way to England
