hard starting merc 115hp tower of power

i have a late 70s - early 80s mercury 115hp tower of power. it does not have an enrichner valve but i would like to add one. i ordered one from a later model of the same engine, but im not sure how it solenoid mounts to the engine or how the fuel lines hook up. my solenoid came with an adel clamp to mount to engine, but im not sure where it goes. as fas as the fuel lines, i know one fuel line goes to the balance tubes but im not sure where the solenoid gets its fuel from. ive seen some diagrams of a fuel hose attaching to the bottom fuel bowl of the top carb, but my bowl does have a fitting there. do i need a new carb bowl that is able to take a fitting?
if anyone has a similar set up on a tower of power, pics would be greatly appreciated.

i already have the enricher solenoid valve. In the part breakdown, it says it mounts on the left (port) side of the engine, next to the carbs. my engine has a distributor so there is not room to mount there.
Do i have to drill out the treaded screw hole in the bottom of the top carb bowl, where the choke butter fly spring mounts to? if so, sounds like a winter project since ill have to remove the carb in order to drill and make sure its clean.
