    Triton TR 21 advice!!

I recently Bought a 99 Triton TR21 with a Merc 225 EFI. Need some advice on setting it up. I知 seeing all kind of numbers from people on what this set up should run. I started Out with 25 Tempest and not sure at all where the jack plate was.. it was turning to many RPMs. So I traded It for a Croxton 26 Tempest. Right now I知 pretty close to 2.5 below pad.. I was At 3.5 to start with once I put The 26 on. And I致e moved it up to 2.5 now and not noticing any change at all.. same RPM.. Same speed.. same water pressure. Same hole shot. 5800 RPm. 70 mph. Realistically what should this boat be running? I知 running a very light load. Maybe 50 pounds of gear. Half tank of gas and only 3 batteries.

Bring it up a little at a time until you loose water pressure or get excessive prop slip. Then Take it back down a bit, should be close. If you run light, it may need more prop

Comes out to 14% slip with 26. If u can get that down some u will get little more but loose rpm, 7-10% is pretty good for average bass boat. Being a croxton prop prob runs more like 27? How much did rpm drop from 25 to the worked 26?

I dropped a couple hundred from the 25 to the 26.. didn’t gain any speed but hole shot improved.
