You guys see the vid of Cam Newton getting told to shut the f up at an nfl speaking event? He was spouting off about how he had experienced racism. Some large sounding man, ( a player) told him to shut up. He walked away looking down in silence. I think some players have realized the whole thing is going off the rails for them financially.

I heard nba was down 30% haven’t heard anything on the nfl and knows if u can even trust the percentages they do release, they’ll try and make it out like there’s nothing wrong

The NFL viewership for last Thursdays opener was down 13% for TV and 11% for streaming.

Not as much as some might hope, but that does not take into consideration that there were no fans in the stadiums. No ticket sales, no vendor or concession sales. If all people do is watch it on TV, they really are not bringing in that much money, and that is all I care about. If they do not have as much money to spend, the players will be paid less.
