1979 Hydrostream Viking
Serial # HSP720VGM79E SOLD SOLD going to New Orleans
This was always a race boat. Purchased new. It is original, unrestored, but as with all Streams, will have to be rebuilt. Boat has been stored outside, but covered. Floor and transom seem pretty good, but it is a Stream. Gelcoat is excellent. Big silver flakes with red accent flakes. Been sitting in the same spot at least 20 years.
Trailer rough but solid. Motor is 2.4 200 (2 piece heads)
Located in Charlotte, NC.
We don't know what this boat is worth, so I guess you will have to make an offer.

Straight windshield frame! Steely Gas tank in the middle. Battery in passenger rear. Love it. Damn those railroad rails look awful heavy.

I called yesterday, seller was very nice to speak with, half day too late. After speaking with seller and learning more on the history of this boat, this is a very cool boat with some nitrous fueled past. Hope new owner will post some return to glory pics.

Hello All, After a talk to owner about boat, we took the 12 hr ride to see the boat that was stored for 30 yrs by the original owner and in great shape, yea, hard to believe. I've been looking for a unmolested original finish vking for over 10 yrs now. When we got there it was easy to tell that he was very straight forward and EVERYTHING was how he had said with paperwork to back it up, A 79 Stream in 100% original shape, factory interior, 200 merc, a TOTAL flashback, DONE DEAL!!!! . IT was a honor to meet someone who wasn't trying to GET you so he could get some money and whatever he post for sale here in the future should be realized as 100% what he says it is. Thanks Scream n Fly for letting me meet Nelson and him giving me the boat Ive been looking for, and yes, it will be returned back to full 79 glory, John Pabst

thanks for the positive comments. This boat belonged to my friend Randy Edwards who died in March. I have known his wife since high school (55 years), and I am helping her sell off some of his 'collection'. Randy raced in the Southern Dragboat Assn. back in the early 80's.
