...nice "1/2" barrel...all those little cypress knee's popp'n up...cool. when i was a kid grown'n up in florida, those knee's were cut off by the thousands to be sold as souveneirs along all the roads in florida for the tourists...crazy by todays standards...

We have a septic tank and the flame just leaves a little black soot from the citronella oil

So I have to ask about the stairs. Do you pull that up at night to keep critters and gators from visiting? or is it also for flood and security. Are the mosquiotes an issue there?? Its a great looking place man. I am envious, very cool.

This is a kick ass get a way hut. LOVE it- Makes me want to come over and set up targets on the other side of the river so we could shoot from your deck-

I only put them up when I leave , just to keep people honest, I’ve never had a problem with any theft , it can’t be seen from the road just the river and us boat people don’t act like that !! There’s really nothing of any real value there , I even leave the doors unlocked so they don’t F the doors up to get in just to figure out that there’s nothing there and the skeeters get busy in the summer months mainly at night,but I grew up s.fl hangin out in the Everglades they don’t bother me much

the back porch looks out over a cypress swamp I usually set up targets in the swamp and shoot down from the back porch, I shot my first gun on this property
