Looks nice. My next one will be a floater as water levels have been fluctuating a bunch from spring to fall around here.
Can I ask how you secured the barrels to the structure?
I built a raft a few years back with plastic barrels to float it. I used galvanized strap to secure and some of it is starting to let go. Lasted 7 years, but still would rather have something a little more permanent. Thanks!!!Last edited by SS Minnow; 08-02-2020 at 06:03 PM. Reason: lasted 7 years, done in 2013, not 13 years.

I basically used the same thing but aluminum I think they were 1” or 1.25” wide front and back and I also mounted them thru the lip of the barrel with stainless screws to help , I will suggest how ever big it is pack as many barrels under as will fit I had to add once I started adding weight for the roof and it would have been a whole lot easier when it was out of the water

Just to let you know, you cheated using that crane!!! You were suppose to use a bunch of drunk buddies!

LoL My crane is way less hassle if I used my drunk buddies it would Still be in my yard , wish I could’ve used it to put in the river tho , I had them stacked on the trailer deck to deck and my plan was to untie one and slide it in the river and force to go barrels down, first one went perfect, second not so much lol as soon as I untied it that sucker took off!! , I tried to grab it and I slipped and fell and it landed deck down half in the water half on the trailer , luckily my neighbors across the river were watching my dumbass (probably laughing there ass off) and came over and helped me flip it back over
