..i use eaton-aeroquip black or blue push-lok for everything. use their push-lok fittings with it. their brass fittings in the boats. don't mix brands of fittings & hose. there are other brands of push lock that are ok to use also, just use those other brands of their fittings along with their hose. it makes a difference. push-lok is not coast guard approved #J-1527 alchohol approved hose but I use it. it does'nt mind alchohol. it needs to be replaced every 10 years or so, but what hose doesn't.

Agree on the real aeroquip products..the angle fittings are made in several parts and brazed together, I have seen some of the Chinese junk crack at the joints, this one is a big fitting i bought for a vent line... was supposed to be eaton but was China rona made... quality is crap

...again, stick with the brass fittings on boats. they are also available in nickle coated brass from eaton-aeroquip. safer than the aluminum. i do use the aluminum fittings on my protouring truck/car.

Aeroquip ..
Man you rollers just can't hide money .. can ya ..
For the first time guy , the house brands I mentioned only had a failure when they got the tight and six turn's treatment , cross threaded from the start etc.
No questions asked, return policy .. perfect for the guy on a budget.
A~quip
$20+ dollars for a -6 …
$30+ dollars for a -8 …
Talk about skeerin a new guy off ..
Speakin of $75+ dollars for a -20 … Thanks guys, now my vehicle assembly building .. smells like nitro since I cracked the top off this tub for a picture ..
Was a time when a top wouldn't fit over top of that bin ..
2500 CFM throttle body, Enderle pump and barrel valve, My partner and I built lots of injection parts back in the day .. including this return / bypassing shut off valve, base plates, 1.250 aluminum fuel lines with bead rolled ends , in-line return blocks with multiple 45* dumps .
I'll bet I ran 40 drums of fuel thru this system ..
Actually, now that I think about it .. As a young man possessed, "Killer Rons"
called me one day and told me I won more races that anyone else in the country with their injection, and wanted to present me with their "Golden Terminator" award at the PRI show in Indy.
So yea .. I assembled a few fittings in my day ... <--- ice tea

Nice chaz, stuff from jegs, summit, earls is prob fine but u gotta be careful ebay is loaded with china crap. I worked on many md500 rebuilds and allways bought extra to keep the stash full. From above...Only issue with aluminum on boats is corrosion think most of us here are talking custom race not fishin boats..

...bet i've bought a million dollars worth of Aero-Quip, then Eaton-AeroQuip brass fittings & hi-pressure 3-piece reusable hose ends, then sent them all out to be chromed, along with all the spools of FC-332-4, -6, -8, etc., full spools of 2651-4, -6, -8 steering hose, banjo fittings, full-flow ball valves, stainless & brass, the "hi-performance series" colored aluminum series fittings, stainless steel braid teflon hose/premade & bulk, AeroQuip assembly tools & oil, along with a lot of larger size fittings($). the list goes on. but a million dollars worth? yeah, at least. its what it takes to put serious, larger, fast boats together. (none of this includes all the "other" brands of like hose/fittings, such as weatherhead, brasscraft, parker, etc. that were procured.$$$)
