Haven’t heard back from Wintech. Even sent them a follow up email, but no response as yet. Posted an online message on the FTP site as well, but no response as yet. I’ve been trying to get a response from Geigertec on a set of steering arms and not getting any response there either. Been waiting on Crowley marine to ship an order of Mercury parts since ordering them on the 17th of July, but they say that they are back ordered from mercury and that they have no idea when they’ll get them.
Seems like its really hard to get these kind of boat parts nowadays. I guess the 2-stroke race boat parts market is low volume business...? Or maybe it’s because of the pandemic...
Well, at least Bob’s Machine shipped my order, so there’s that. Now all I have to do is wait for my local FedEx office and customs to get their fingers out..

Well, finally got hold of Wintech today and they don’t have any of the Nydahl pulleys (or nothing else that I wanted) in stock, and they have no idea when they’ll get any more so my only hope is that Jack Barsh has some of something else that can work.

Thanks, I was on their site this morning, coincidentally. But I didn’t see anything there that can work for me, but maybe they have other options than what they have on their site. What does your pulleys look like?
I called FTP today, but the lady that answered said Jack was painting, so I sent an email to him. I’ll see what he says. They still build STVs, including the Mod VP, so they must have a solution.
I’ve noticed that Jack’s new QS1 boats have the smaller (and nicer) bullet type 2-bolt coaming pulleys up front, so I may have to get a pair of those and make an adaptor plate to cover the larger 4-bolt hole, and then bolt the bullet pulley onto that.

Yep, I looked at their site and they have some neat stuff for sure. Their coaming pulleys are nice too. It’s just that they seem to cater more to the lightweight hydro small outboard market, so my worry is whether their hardware can handle the torque of a big V6?
Here’s the link to their site:

I called those guys at wintech 2 yrs ago and they said it would take 3 or 4 months to make some up, I guess they don't really want to mess with those anymore. The holes in the boat are big so finding something else that fits will be an issue, clean yours up and replace the pulleys with some nice aircraft style. Look up Ralmark pulley n find some that will fit, then buy on ebay or aircraft spruice. I ended up making mine i couldn't find anything used or new that would fit the holes in the boat.
