    For metcher~onni I use .03937 , is that close enough ..

Was actually hard to bring that size motor "down" to 225-250 and peak @ 6000K , at least on my "dream wheel" .. So they deff put in in semi-comatose mode ..

I kind of though your 200+ psi (cranking IMEP) would be high , but it seems to be right on the money ..

I let the program pick the valve size's and 4 valve head flow file . Ton more left hiding inside .. LOL

Not to hijack the thread but if it is true that the 300 4 stroke weighs the same as my 300XS, has any one hung one on a Grandsport [like mine]? If the weights are the same, this might give me an itch that can only buying one can scratch.

My 300 XS has a 1:62 sportmaster and 20" mid. Do you think Merc will ever come out with a 1:62 sporty with 15" mid.

This would be a great time to buy one with the S&P 500 sky-high like it is.

I think wildman busted the 505 pound weight on the v-8's. Seems they were 540 pounds.

I guess I will just have to wait another 10 years for Darius to finish the 24' Grandsport.......

Ya, the 300R HD is 546 according to Merc. Heavier in the real world. I have a strong feeling Mercury Racing is going to work on the V6 for a 225 HP version.

I really hope your right, did anyone ever confirm if 3 liter sportmasters work on the v6 motors?

It's not a Grand Sport, but it is an Allison. I'm no expert on those hulls but gotta believe they are somewhat similar.

The 21 Prosport is completely different. Great boat though.

A 225 V6 would be interesting on a GS. With the right gearcase and solid lowers. I wouldn't want to be in one with a 300R.

Everything lines up other then the shift actuator and if you pull it off then it will flash a fault and won't give spark. They will need a 300R or 450 case to work.

Month's ago I sent an accurate template of the 3.0L case to Wavey's European confidant.
Now I would have to think that if people .. well some people , can take a 3.0L case that shifts in rotation of the shift shaft and adapts it to a OMC that shifts in a vertical movement , there might be a few fellers that could satisfy the shift switch portion of the PCM .. and bypass the need for the **panza** case ..

2 points of compression and a "street cam" …

Just passing on the information I was able to find. I know if the stock actuator is sensing its in gear, there is no spark and it is not a spline on the shaft like we are used to (no more "one tooth off"). There were a decent number of new motors on the run this weekend but only one V6. Wake boats and increased traffic do not seem to offer favorable water conditions for anything with high speed capabilities than can't handle a 550# motor at this point. We had calm river conditions but still had a small boat come apart after going thru a cruiser wake.

V8 TM fits, not 3.0/3.2L TM. Different flange and shifting mechanism, as well as driveshaft splines.
