For Sale: 53" AMPS ¼ scale F1 Tunnel Hull and Gas Outboard

For sale: An original AMPS F1 Tunnel Hull and Gas Outboard. This hull and outboard are extremely rare as only a few were manufactured in the mid 90's and it’s believed that only 3 or 4 of the real, 53” AMPS Seebold tunnel hulls are still in existence. Agnew Millar was ahead of his time in the scale model boat market and this is a great example of what he engineered and built to perform like the real thing. Most scale models sacrifice performance for aesthetics but not the AMPS models. The hull measures 53” long and was detailed to look like former F1 champ Guido Cappellini’s Laser Line sponsored boat from the 90’s. The outboard has a carbon fiber/Kevlar tuned pipe that exits a real working F1 style mid-section. The lower unit has a low water pickup for cooling the engine. This model also comes with the integral trim unit built into the midsection so the motor can be trimmed on the fly while running just like the real thing. The cowl is a two piece design and can be lifted off the lower pan plate. It has wing plate steering connected to cables similar to real F1 race boats. The (3) servos are all new, the Futaba receiver is new and it has a 26cc gas engine. The package comes with (6) spare flex shafts, a Killer bee engine kill switch (not connected), a new fuel bag and fuel filter. Buy it to and have fun on the water or be part of a unique collection your man cave. The cool-factor is a 10.

Option 1...Price: $3,200 (Almost ready to run...only needs batteries, fuel, oil and a radio)

Option 2...Price: $2,950 (Futaba servos and receiver not included with the sale)

Buyer pays shipping. An enclosed, wooden shipping crate can be built as needed. Sold as-is, no warranty expressed or implied.
