...as long as you dont have to modify the XS cases, i'd hang on to them for a bit & try one for the fun of it. as mentioned, every set-up is a bit different & you can learn from it. hey, you got a good vest right? lol

Took it for it's first ride on Sunday, found that the 14 x 28 chopper isn't big enough, ran 74 mph, with the adi 115 powerhead. Going to switch over to v6 props next time out. Xs case has 2:1 gears. Click image for larger version.

It seems like the engine is being limited to 6300 rpm, 26 and 28 both turned the same rpm, and you can pull your foot back and maintain 6300. I used the t2x adapter plate, with the adi 115, and I suspect that the tuner isn't allowing it to turn any higher

One side triple too long, the other side triple too short, careful you don't cook a piston trying. Needs one bore spacing difference between both ends.

Great looking rig! I always wondered how the T2 and a viper would look paired up. It seemed like it would be a good match. I have one of each but never hung it on the transom. Thanks for actually doing it!

No mo port....74 is a good start for the first run. You have any pics of the tuner plate?

I'd like to try and find a 1.78 gearset out of a 1350 gearcase if anyone has a set they would sell. I'm really thinking that I'm not going to put a v6 on this, I think once it's all dialed in and I get the t2x on it, it'll probably do 90, which I'm good with. It's fun to drive with the inline and different.
