Test Wheels For Merc V8 ProXs

I would much rather use the cut props cut props like Chas has made over the omc type test wheels or flat plates with bolts on the merc gearcases with timken fwd gear bearings, these cases are designed for the thrust loading thru the prop shaft to keep the fwd bearing seated under load. Most omc cases use flat rollers and separate thrust bearings on the fwd gears.

Oh , I got it much worse than just that …
I still have two Gucci~glides 2- 9" and 1- 10" bolt together .. and about a half a dozen stators I built for each ..
That 1.125" aluminum adapter ring ... moves the tranny back so the "baby bump" that holds a 5 stack of FMX plates can fit up front.
So with a "dump valve" " two speed" and "lock-up" .. does that make it a four speed .. ?
If so , then I was thinking about using one of them with a Gear Vendor's O/D box on a lil project. But only if it acts like a 3000 HP capable , five speed ..

Do you know of a good source (reasonably priced) for weld in hubs . Not a retail prop shop .. but the vendor(s) they buy them from ..
I've got a bunch of early props I'd like to convert to well balanced solid hub models ..
