G100 spray gun?
Looking to do a re-gel a 17 ft hull. Is this a gun a newbe could learn with and be sucessfull with? Am I better to consider a tank system or a hvlp gun? Opinions good or bad.

3m accuspray is a much safer option. Gel curing in the pot will ruin the tool and the 3m is all replaceable throw away nozzle so you have a brand new spray head every time.

I just sprayed an entire boat in new gel with a $25 HVLP from amazon. 2.5mm tip. Sprayed .025" metal flake with no issues.
EDIT: sorry I lied, it is $35. https://www.amazon.com/pulverización...NsaWNrPXRydWU=
EDIT 2: I bought two of them just incase something went wrong and it cured in the gun. And it did, I was able to get it cleared out with acetone and keep rocking. Worked well cause I grabbed the second gun to keep working and my helper cleaned the first gun.Last edited by tnelsmn; 07-16-2020 at 10:10 PM.
