A bunch of us hook up at the Alligator Alley sandbar every weekend, a little over halfway upriver from Burton's Ferry to Stoney Bluff. It's on the SC side of the river. My son and I both have Allisons, there's an STV or two that comes, some deck boats and center consoles, aluminums...... just a Dukes mixture. SC folks and GA folks, young and old. I usually put in at Stoney Bluff and go downriver to it.
Come on up, we'll be there tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, cooking.

I think we are going to the Suwannee Thursday or Friday if the weather is good. The water levels are down so there will be plenty of beaches. We hope to launch at Branford Springs Park.

It's another absolutly beautiful morning here in NE Florida, not a cloud in the sky, no wind, the river must be just like glass. hope and pray everybody has a wonderful time in Palatka, 2 great days in a row, can't ask for much more that that

Before we die from boredom, we would like to spend a day next week at the Suwannee. Every time we were going recently the weather or the Forecast was bad.
