Strong running V6 (20" shaft, carbed, single ram trim). Compression 120 - 125 across all cylinders (cold). Cowling decals say 200, but its a 1980 175 by the serial number. Just replaced fuel pump diaphragm & water pump. No controls or prop..engine & trim pump only. Local pickup only. Naples, FL

Do you know compression numbers is the motor real salty? The second part of the question is not to be derogitory but I have been breaking bolts on these salt motors. thanks Rick

Hello Rick, the compression numbers are 120 - 125 across all cylinders (cold). There is some corrosion as it's 40 years old, but when I changed the water pump, lower dropped easily. I'd say if there were to be any problems with bolts, it would be the center section mount bolts. I can send you additional photos if you contact me ...Steve 239-250-4021
