2" Rigging Hose in a Mercury 225 Promax

I put a 1996 225 Promax on my Hydrostream Viking and I can't get the 2" rigging hose stuffed into the oval holes in the motor. Is there a flange for the motor side or a trick to stuffing the hose in the holes?

I have not did my rigging hose into my cowl yet, but heat it up and it should be easier to get in there.

Go on the Madefi website and Todd makes rigging tube adapters.

I went to the Madefi site and he has them for alien cowls. Will they fit the older 2.5 pan?

I called Todd and he sorted out my fitment question and I bought with confidence. If he doesn' answer just leave a message with the simple question and it' get looked after -
I personally can' tell you the differance in pans but a good question - a whole new discussion on 2.5 pan differences if any . I believe if you have an oval opening for throttle and harness your in the right direction

can you post a pic of them when you get them? I have the oval hole 260/promax pan as well.
