    mercury gearcase housing fitment

    Is this a big bearing case and will my 2.5 torque master guts go into it? 1647-9148t93

    ive never seen that number ???? casting numbers are what i go by, book numbers are of no use to me , it is cast into the case tail section if it does not read 1647 9147 ,1647 9147C or C1 it is not a big bearing consumer style case hipo cases not included T/Master ,CLE , Sporty

    That's what I thought,my tm housing cracked again now case is toast.I posted here looking for a case tm,cle etc no replys so ebay has a few but list them as 1647-9148 this is just a spare so I just need a case to put my tm guts in,so im running my sporty now.

    The small bearing case has 2 little anodes above the cav plate bolted both sides together, the big bearing case has slots in the same area no anode, if that helps
