CLEs with Bob's cones or Tie Bar Issue, which?
Guys/Gals
First time out this season on my 21 twin cat and I noticed I lost some speed on top end (6 mph) from last season. The only things changed over the winter was I had Bob' cones with low water pickups installed on my pair of CLEs, and I also had the tie bar shortened by 7/16, so I now only have 1/8" toe-in (heard that worked well on these boats). Motors are still 7600 rpms, same as last year
Your thoughts what it could be?
Thanks
Frank

Just curious, why did you add the cone to an already coned lower? I know it is something that is done pretty often, just curious why you did it in particular.
