Went on Wally world to buy some Pens. Xlf and couldn't find it. Googled it and they the came up. $12. And some change a gallon if you buy 3 cases and free 2day shipping.

So is the xlf good about less carbon build up? I really like my quicksliver, but it leaves quite bit carbon behind , my motor tad on rich side and just wondering , I'm a big chicken when comes tryin new oil

Jay Smith recommended the xlf to me. Said the Merc oil left too much ash. I'd guess he's seen the inside of as many 2.5 Mercs as anybody so I took his advice. Was also a petroleum engineer if memory serves me.

XLF is the good stuff. Been using it for years. Merc oil ( prem +) has more moly and ptfe. I use the XLF for everything now, even my opti's. It is cleaner burning. Merc oil just has a tad more additives that don't burn well.
