Another possibility is that the different blocks of the inline 6 and V8 restrict the flow differently making for the same amount of water to have different psi. One may need more volume while the other needs pressure.It takes "uncommon sense" to look at something at a glance and see the whole picture for what it is, in 3-D . I reckon your either born with that gift … or not so much.
Large constant volume is necessary to push the air pockets out of the many nooks and crannies of a four stroke block and heads . Another gulp of air starts the process over again. Steam pocketing tends to grow larger in area as temps rise . The annoying buzzer is nothing compared to what happens in those localized hot spots ..
That's a dayum good start …
