I am having problems with a carb overflowing after a rebuild. I rebuilt all six carbs and now the top left, facing the carbs, is leaking from the brass overflow. I have reset the float and change needle and seat. I even went back to an old needle since I found this problem.

I have ordered a new float bowl but I am not sure that is going to fix my problem. Have I missed anything during the rebuild? The float is set ever so slightly above level and is seated properly. I pulled the bowl off and held it upside down and tried to blow into the fuel port and it was seated and then turned it over and it was open.

Can you tighten the carb to much and distort the bowl?

Once the engine is running, fuel will flow out of the overflow constantly.

Lower the float , if u think it's to spec , just lower little more see if dont stop
