As I have learned, make sure your favorite piston manufacture (China) makes a piston that fits your hurt holes.

Wonder what company makes WSM, same as the Pro?

Vertex cost very close to Pro or WSM?
Vertex is always my first choice for my application....just my 2 cents.
Could it be .. because they are made in Cadelbosco Sopra Italy ..

Does the 1.5 to 2.0 make a major difference in a non racing or high strung application?
Using a 3.2L crank as an example .. 7000 RPM puts the piston speed @ aprox. 3600 ft/min . ( over the somewhat antiquated thought of 3500 ft/min max )

Potential ring flutter for a 2mm ring is 6000 RPM (again taken with a grain of salt)

A 1.5 mm ring should go an additional 900 RPM , before potentially losing control ..
