I always liked the old Chevelle 300 2 door wagons, especially the 64's. The fuelie motor is wicked cool too!

Yes , different world in which we live today .. but in some cases , the more things change .. the more they stay the same ..
Not a lot of people could make those Rochester F.I. units work .. hats off to ya Dave "for being ahead of your time" ..
Tires weren't very good back then , but I remember seeing wagon's at the track .. never seemed to have much worry about traction with all that "overhang" behind the rear axle ..

Dontov designed aspecial cam for the 327 vette called a 30/30, but i could be wrong. i had a 350 nova with a qjet 4 bbl. my first ride was a tr-4 with wire wheels.

I had a Chevrolet "151" cam back in the day .. ( 350 horse 350 ci ) pretty much the same as a 30/30 .. no lift , all duration .. but hey, what the heck .. you could walk into the Chevy store and buy a new cam and lifters for something like $75 dollars .. those were the days ..
How bout the "Isky 5 cycle cams" ..

Thanks Dave! Look at that fulie motor. Bitchin 2 door Wagon with the Ansens!
I had a factory 1970 350 LT1 with heavy cut angle plug heads etc. Big Solid Cam and a Tunnel Ram. Ran it in a lightened 63 SS Impala Hi-Boy with a custom cut X-Frame running a 1 piece driveshaft, Ladder bars...with a 4:56 gear. Would pull the skinny front wheels off the ground at a street light drag with a 7000+ RPM Clutch Dump. Busted alot of parts with that car.

I would have thought that OMC was Merc by the way it sounded at the very beginning of the video. I really enjoyed that one!
