    Promax vst drlete

My 1995 promax still has the stock Vst and blazer front. I want to convert it to the 260 style fuel setup.
My vst has the older style system where the high pressure pump is external of the tank. It is a Bosch. Can I still use this pump to put inside the boat? Also my 39# reg uses a O ring to seal against the Vst so I will be needing to tap threads into the return side of it for a barb fitting to return back to the fuel cell in the boat.

Very good question-I have same setup and 2 of those Bosch pumps. 1 new in box and one with 11 hrs that was put on when Jay built my motor 3 yrs ago. I have one of the regulators already drilled -tapped and barbed. Just wanted to get motor broke in good and be sure no issues anywhere so if I changed to a Prostock setup i could be confident motor fuel and electric where good before I did it. Right now I have a jegs low pressure pump suppling VST in place of the pulse pump at Jay's recommendation for my build, he tapped pulse pump hole and it is plugged. In my mind the Bosch pumps we have should be good since they were what was factory anyway. Just mount low by tank and filter before etc like alot do in that setup- Diamond had a great plumbing setup that most follow with great success. Let me know if you do it and post up or pm pictures. I'll do same if I beat you to it. I don't get to water much, hence a 3 year old build and only 11 hrs. Go to Kinkaid Lake in Il below Chester. 50 MPH limit so not alot of running do to limit and congestion. I'm going in am early before the holiday boaters get out. Where you boat over there, good hotboat crowd? be safe abd good luck.
