I heard those pics were taken with a done. Pics from side, looks like sun light peeking down?. Maybe they dropped a light over head?. This is in Grand Traverse bay, lake Michigan. We usually have very clear water but with the high water this year the shore line is washing all kinds of stuff in to the water. Usually you can see your anchor shine no problem in 35ft of water. We dont get the algae growing here like some because of the short season. Last year only two months of swimming, 3 if you have Big Balls.
When my kids where young I would throw a big handful of change in like 6 ft of water and that would keep them out of my hair for like a hour diving for it with out masks. In a way thats how I payed for swimming lessons!..

...Grand Traverse Bay? Yup. Now I understand. Unbelievably clear water there. Not normal, lol. I'm PADI certified & dive in the gin clear saltwater stuff, which has great visibility, but yes, the northern Michigan waters are an exception. Can't imagine how cold the water is down at that depth. I actually spent my youth living right on Grand Traverse Bay, living on Penninsula Drive, and attending Old Mission School. Climbed the hill behind the house every summer to steal as many cherries as would make me sick, from the orchards, lol.

Not a much better place to grow up then West Michigan in the summer. We ran down Indian River last week and you forget how nice it is unless you go back to visit on a regular basis. I love the waters there but if you are into boats, then you just can't beat LOTO and the constant activity that takes place.

Yep, He seems to really likes the Fountain 31 center console and even measuring it up for triples. Got to rig a 3rd fuel line up there but what the hell. 3-225pm, so @750 hp would really make it scoot!. Wonder if theres 3 piles of 225pm parts started in his shop already...
Its really been a fun boat for us, easy tow at 5200lbs dry , No carpet rinse and go, handles well, A little cool if the temps are under 70 degrees, but than they make a big daddy ugly wind shield if you want. Easyest boat we have ever owned.

...no, did not even go to high school at all up there, as we moved elsewhere. but good memories, with also great peach tree's, apple tree's and a nice grape producing grape arbor in the yard as a kid. nice big treehouse tree's also. HUGE boulders on our beach & and who can forget the petosky stones. Was up there visiting last year for the first time in a million years. Man, has the area changed, yet still the same. Absolutely beautiful. When I was a kid there, the zoo & aquarium was still downtown right on the bay there, lol.
