My buddy has a nice 225 pm right now, I remember them on bullets and norris crafts back in the early 2000's. That was the engine to have, especially with the ficht fiasco imo. I remember yammy had a hot motor then and it took it off the pedestal. I am waiting for more battles like that, I guess Suzuki is going to have to step up now and have some HP options sense rude went and quit on us. And I have to admit, if I had been in the market for a new engine the past 3 years, it would have been a G2. Just because Rude had enough kahones to stay in the 2 stroke game and still compete. Just my .02
Respect no wake zones!!! Evinrude guys need a place to race too.

The 3.4 rods are what ya need Chazzz…….bigger better than 3.0 rods..... just a mite longer......just needs some relocating of the pins.....in the piston......Bigger so ya can cut off what ya don't want......Late 3.4s had tapered pins......same as 3.0s I ant' getting rid of any..... just saying....Chazz have you ever seen a 3.0 EAT a crank sealing ring?????....I pulled one apart last week..... the block was trashed.... the ring broke out and trashed the block..... never seen that before.....OMC rods...… sooooo diff than merc in all aspects..... but they have nice cross section......but all eles is way diferent…….

The Cosworth rods are .040 longer . Not a big deal , slight change in port height. And a cut in the quench ring , which I do now anyway …
The sealing rings all seem to dig in , some worse than others . Before I put one together or send a block out the door , I smooth out the surface so the crank settles where the bearings are happy , not where those grooves mandate the crank sits .
I've gotten quite a few blocks from marina's where they say , "block aint no good , gotz grooves whare the rangs ride" .. Ohh , OK , I'll still take it off your hands ..
No matter which way you turn it , one register supports the drum while you cut the next one to it ..

U goin with the teflon, I went with viton rubber .103 ... The flexseal 1000 seal ring repair tool looks nice, much better than a flap wheel on an extended die grinder thats for sure I like it..

The teflon stands up to heightened cylinder pressure from nitrous a lil better ...
I have a Flex~seal 999 for 2.5's and the 1000 is for 3.0L's …
