I remember that post krazymaan. He was saying how the American workers wanted too much pay. He liked the SA's better. He's not alone though. I get a feeling that all contractors will be held responsible for the hiring of illegals in the not too distant future. As soon as President Trump is re-elected he will be able to do more aggressive measures regarding this illegal practice.

Every time I hear someone say "they are doing the jobs that Americans don't want to do" I want to punch that person. I remember when there were still white people putting roofs on houses, or working for landscaping companies. Back when those jobs paid......wait for it..... a livable wage. All of a sudden there was an influx from the south and you had workers that would take a job for considerably less then the white people were making. It is not that Americans suddenly lost interest in doing those jobs, it was that they could not afford to work at the same rate as their competition.

I make sure no illegals are at my site. Only the legits that did it the old fashioned way. Even my wife is legal.

The legal latinos are not fans of the illegals. They are trying to make a living and see first hand how the contractors are violating the law already on the books. I saw this in the boat building business too. Illegals come in and will work for whatever the pay is. The pattern is, one guy that speaks english comes around and says he has 20 workers that will work for 1000 bucks a day. He skims half right off the top (500 bucks) and the workers get 25 bucks ea. for a 10 hr day. Who are the workers gonna complain to?

Yeah there was is the hierarchy among people from countries south of us. Legal Mexicans did not like illegals. All Mexicans hated Puerto Ricans and Cubans. Puertos because they were US citizens just because, and Cubans because all they had to do was make it to the US and they are allowed to stay. Well, unless you were a child and Janet Rino was attorney general.

Same type of thing in south Texas, near Corpus. Local whites were not too friendly to anybody but local whites. Same with local brown, only liked local brown. Did not matter who you were, who you knew, there was always a barrier because they did not know you for three generations. Did not bother me as I was only there for a few winters. Knew a bunch of people some I am still in contact with today, but none of them are true Texans that have lived there longer then caliche.

Clearly you have never prepared a "big corporate" tax return...... or one of the "billionaire CEO's"....if you had you would know that the "rich" pay 70% of all Federal taxes collected..... do some research....or is it that facts don;t work for your narrative?

These are the people that cooder supports. The do nothing dims with how many years in politics? Yet they blame it all on the guy that has been there for three years. Makes sense to me.

Thing is, I have met Cuda while boating and shook his hand. Seemed like a nice guy and fellow boat nut. I just don't understand the hate he has for the President. But, I guess that's just the way things are now with the political climate and such. Us being divided is what the commies want.
