Cool car shows on tv ,,,

I enjoy watching some of the high end builds on shows like Fast and loud, Kounting cars, etc. but the best I've seen so far during a night of no sleep I binge watched one named " Bitchin Rides " by I belive a guy named Dave Kindig, by far the most detailed show of builds on the History channel, and man what a shop !!! must be worth millions in equipment. check it out sometime

I find it amazing that there are so many shops doing these high dollar builds. The car hobby has been taken over by $100,000 show cars, even the local shows have become who spent the most money contests. Now you even have builders making high dollar rat rods, it’s crazy.

Simple, do it yourself performance boating has fallen to the wayside. Now you have to have a lake X sticker to be cool. And have a carbon fiber everything. Engine builders are not cheap. And performance from the factory is achieved by the computer and tune. Same with the cars. Customer sez, how about a model T with an LS? Builder just asks for your credit card number and calls you when it's ready.

I have my grandparents 64 Chrysler 300 with 71k miles completely original except for the hubcaps. all the local guys with heavely modded street rods say "leave it alone" the guy thats helping me get it on the road said " I wouldn't do a thing to it. the paint is not perfect but the body is straight as an arrow. plan to make it a patina car. even Jay Leno says his favorites are original survivor cars. this thing is al long as an eldorado and its a 2 door coup with bucket seats, pushbutton tranny and a squair steering wheel, spent many a mile as a kid sitting on the armrest in the center' good times, hope to have her on the road soon. we went to the viva las vegas show a few years ago with 600 cars, only saw 2 Chryslers,

Nope, sorry, was born in 1954, so I'm old and BMW is from a nickname at work, Big Mouth Wagner, so there it is.
