I HAD to do some digging on the LS motors. Found a good read on them to know what's what.

lol!!! Can’t argue with anything else you posted, correct on all. Push any engine to kill and death soon follows it. We did a twin turbo 6.0L once, twice, three times, then four all in less than 5000 miles of use. I’m back to naturally aspirated and enjoying it much more.

with regards to earlier if I was going full whack all ahead max big cube BBC on alcohol with huge twins, glide, full floater and whatever pro mod chassis I could find best lowest priced and that would be that.

for street boost is tough because of heat and fuel limitations. E85 only builds if available in your area are the exception. Keep your timing down and your boost low and it’ll live a while and still roll out well.

Yeah, those guys go through some parts. Must have a money tree somewhere.
If I had the kind of money those guys spend I would have one real nice quick and reliable hot rod or just buy a new vehicle with good power and leave it mostly stock.

I enjoy building engines, transmission, not so much diff.'s, but once I have them installed I want to drive, not work on it.

Chaz, hope ya know my post about you and the Stang crowd was just me joking around.

There are some "full LS fest" vids .. where you don't have to look at old Chevys or Fords … Only, soon to return , 240 thousand mile junkyard refugees .. Like I said , to each their own ..
Twin 88's .. yea that's a good match .. wet noodle pedal , until 5000+ RPM . You should drive one like that .. then get back to me ..

...video's posted simply for entertainment purposes, and for gary's LS education, as examples of three different "fun" levels($)... just wish gary had fun level number one. (don't we all)...but I see gary enjoying himself at fun level two, like the guy with the Chevelle.

Kinda reminds me of 30 yrs ago, after 9 yrs I quit kneel down racing and decided to build a go fast OB ski boat and everyone told me I’d need to run a Merc.

Didnt listen then either and have no regrets.

Or, one time, stopped at a light in my very nice, very fast, ‘68 440/6 Super Bee, a red neck in a truck, beside me at the light, hangs out his passenger side window and screams “Mopars suck!”

The light turned green and I watched them drive off in their clapped/rusted out, mid ‘70’s Chevy truck.
    I was dumb founded.

I can tell you, I did not go home and list my Mopar to buy a Chevy.

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
