Boat Sales
Dealers down here are out of stock. I was told Chatlee Marine in Sanford NC sold 168 boats in May. Buddy was joking with the sales guy that they need a sign that says "We are Still Open". Empty lot looks like they are closed down. I was told the Tidewater dealer in Wilmington is sold out and the next 20 boats coming in are pre-sold.
Went to a local lake last night with a buddy and his Euro. 50mph was all we could do. So much boat traffic. The surfboats really need to get an assigned spot to use and stay in. They eff up the entire lake.Bullet CC w/ 225 Promax - Sold

Most wake boat owners are idiots with money. The authorities really need to put some serious restrictions on when and where they can be used. Not only dangerous for other boaters but damaging for docks and shoreline.

They r washin the banks out round here bad , when they can make a 3 or 4ft swell to surf on and beats **** out of everything in its path. We dont have bunch huge boats on our small river , and the big house boats and stuff , will always slow down at the beaches and people fishin , cause they know they gonna screw **** up , but wake boats wake is just as big and while they out there doin laps , they slow down for nothin unless no wake zone , I wanna swim under and pull drain plugs on everyone of em

I would venture to say the sale of rv's is up also. People want to get out of the house and still social distance. House sales here have gone up while condo sales have gone down. Used boat prices have also stayed up.

I am in boat sales, but up here in Ontario, Canada.
Sales of good used boats is great but we are virtually out of inventory (been that way for the past 3 years).
Most sales are not financed OR at least not financed by us.
Wish our new boat sales were close to what is going on in the US, however with the exchange rate between the US dollar and the CDN dollar new boats are quite expensive; example - a Regal 42 Coupe is almost $1,000,000 CDN, a Cruisers 42 Cantius is over a million CDN.
Used bowriders $50,000 and less if good are gone.
