    Frankenstein promax

I bought an Allison that had this powerhed on it. I was told it ran real strong (built for drag racing) until water got into cylinders between the sleeve and the head. Said it needed 2 sleeves. Looks pretty good on the inside. Has a lite flywheel.

Whats it worth? Probably more if I part it out...Lets ask $1500 complete

if you want it shipped you have to set it up. I will be glad to drop it off strapped to a pallet

WOW! look at that! Wonder how all that works. Retro 2.4 horn. Did he say what kinda box he ran on it? Is that an epoxy block modification up by the top starter mount or is that just spoo?

Crazy eh? So I forgot it has a modified promax box and runs a 56# regulator ( I do not have that). I am going to call that epoxy a block repair..

James Martin is who I got it from..Here is the description in his ad
Motor is Frankenstein 225 horn blown and will need building and 2 sleeves and small weld on sleeve support. Very nice mild grind on inside. Motor ran well after we figured it out till head gasket failure.

I had that same epoxy mod on a 280 I had. I was as told that mod let it run 10K before the rod end opened the block for more air flow and power above 10,000. Worked really good on mine for a little while.

If I had the balls I would buy it and give it a twirl. However, I don't think I could handle it anymore. Sure is neat looking. Love the horn modification. Bad Ass.
