Can u post serial # and look for single ram trim, but yes it will bolt.up

What does the he mean when he says short tuner? Does it mean 15” mid section? I have to call the guy today. Does this seem like a fair price if everything is in good shape? He only has that one picture in the add.

Short tuner is bolted to adapter plates for exhaust, inside the mid, u dont neccesarily need the mid. U need to make sure u got a 2.4 and not a 2.0. Sure looks like 2.0 to me

same as yours... not hi perf at all.. TnT can be fixed and/or just changed out.

yours is way to original and clean to go jackin' with.. most 175's will run as good (some better) as most 200's with proper set up.. only difference is 200's have horizontal fronts and a different carb.. please don't go "hackin'" on it!..... jmo.

serial number stamped in welsh plug on top of motor maybe.. might have only "200" stamped there also.. if thats what is there then that will verify its a 175...

didn't go horizontal till sometime in '89/'90 best i remember with a few vertical's still scattered.. most vertical's after "89/'90 were 2.0's i think.

Thanks for the info, next time I pull it out I’ll check for that welsh plug#. I definitely don’t want to hack the motor up and really don’t plan on it, the wheels in my head are always turning tho. Next I’ll have to see if I can just fix the trim. If anybody has some pointers on that I’m all ears. Thanks to everybody else that replied to my post, all very helpfull info.
