Any boat cover companies left that don't charge out of state sales tax?

It used to be that the reason to mail order out of state was that out of state companies didn't (and shouldn't be expected to) charge sales tax in somebody else's state. In exchange of course, you would be paying shipping. No small business should be required to bear the additional accounting overhead of handling sales tax for states where they are not incorporated. It was like this for years. But lately, more and more companies are starting to do it. I'm sure they are being compelled to by some new and overreaching laws. Anyway, I want to give my business to a company that is holding out or resisting, if such a place exists any more.

couldn't u just do a simple web search of states that don't charge tax? I don't know. on another topic, I have family that lives in boulder city...cool little desert town. if I ever HAD to live in the desert(lol), that would be a top pick. no water bills there, or something like that?

Wouldn't work. They could ship it to one of those states, but you would have to find some address for them to ship it to, AND go pick it up.

Best fresh water boating I have ever seen. Clear water, almost never any floating hazards like logs and stumps, lots of sandy beaches. Great fishing. Only problem is Lake Mead is REALLY big and when the wind picks up, the water gets rough and big. And most of the coastline is very remote since it's all national park. So if you break down, there are no houses or businesses you can paddle ashore to and spotty cell coverage. If you really want a safety blanket you treat it like the open ocean and use satellite.
