Roadblock coming into Keys is removed tomorrow. Sure has been nice down here without the tourists but we welcome them back. Just doesn’t make sense to bring them back and still have bars closed. This is a drinking town.

We’re safe, really? What leads you to that conclusion? Did we somehow eradicate this virus?

Expect a spike then expect a reaction, this isn’t over, far from it.

What will probably happen is a new approach that’s closer to what the initial approach should have been, minus the 40 million people out of work.

"Safe" as in we have a cure (HCQ) and there is no reason to hide out any more. Now, the election gets closer and Trump is still unbeatable, then we might see a spike in reported cases just to cause a panic and a move to mail in voting which is what all this is about anyway.

If your scared, stay home. Me, I am going about my daily function. Might wash my hands more and watch my contact with others but no reason to isolate yourself.

HCQ is far from a cure, you need to stop drinking partisan koolaid and educate yourself. There are real therapies in the works, some could be available in a month or two but there is currently no “cure”.

I agree, the response and hysteria have been disproportionate to the risk but pretending we have this handled is a fool’s errand.

I am reasonably well educated and fully aware of the risks of going into public spaces (not just from corona) HQC + zinc is a proven remedy. Saved many thousands of lives. Politicians all around the world are using it. Many others using it, like the demented media. But they won't tell you that. Why? Because orange man bad......I have advocated for Pres. Trump since 2011. Not likely to stop now. On the contrary, I believe that he has out performed all his claims. And has saved many thousands of American lives with his quick action. Name one other President that has done that.

Turning this into a political discussion turns it into an opinion, not scientific fact. You have an opinion and that’s fine, I have one as well which differs from yours and that’s fine too. I’m not going to change your mind and trust me, you aren’t going to be able to change mine.

To date, the only therapy that has been scientifically proven to work is convalescent plasma. There are, at last count, 5 legitimate efforts underway globally to create antibody based therapies as well a some radically new vaccine techniques that dovetail on these efforts. These are radical in that we have only had the computational and genetic technologies to develop and produce these types of molecules en mass for a few years. Traditional “drugs” are, for the most part useless against this type of virus, they always have been. That’s why we are struggling so much now. The science behind these new technologies is revolutionary and the people performing it are, for the most part, not part of the entrenched big pharma machine and as such it’s not getting near the attention it deserves.

I put my faith in science, always have and always will, not in any individual, political party or government machine. You’re free to do whatever floats your boat.

HCQ has a proven 70 + year record as safe at least.. Vaccines usually take years (and billions) to validate effectiveness. Even then they can be less than ideal to say the least. I know of the other possibilities. Problem is: Years off if even really ever viable. Antibodies being the most likely. But keep pumping billions into the researchers pockets and I assure you we will always need a new vaccine.

Day 17 and counting since WI reopened. Was told to watch for a spike in cases in 10-14 days. I guess someone forgot to tell the covids that.

Last week people were shoulder to shoulder on beaches and in pools for Memorial day. Was also told to watch for a spike from that.

Somebody better send a memo to the covids, there was supposed to be a spike in cases.

Careful what you wish for minner. These crazy bstards (gates, clinton,hussein) may try to kill us all just to defeat Trump and regain power. I don't believe for a second that this stuff was brought upon the world by accident. It was a deliberate attack from china on the US. Everybody else just got in the way of these idiot communists. (over here and in china) I predict and there is some evidence of it, that there will be 10 countries banded together that will place political pressure/tarriffs on china to force a change in its ways. (stop making slaves of it own people big issue) You can see it happening now with people shunning chinese goods.
