What would you guys use for a small gas tank for testing on a stand?

I don't even want to waste 3 gallons just to test and tune on the stand. 1 gallon would be best, but I never see those around.

Who says you have to fill it? Why can’t ya put 1 gallon in a 3 gallon can? Do you have other power equipment that could use the fuel? Weed whip, leaf blower? Anything?

Not trying to be a wise ass, but I don’t think I’ve ever had that problem? There’s always something that needs a splash of gas...

I have used oil tanks as fuel tanks on several projects. I like the "all weather" aspect. Put a loop in the vent hose and they stay dry even in the fla rain. Gaskets on caps,, fine screen on pickup. Perfect.
