300xs alien cowl question
Ordered a CDR alien cowl (no plenum) for my stock 300xs. Anybody else running one? and do you need to reflash ECU. Chris Dunn said not required. I'm not doubting him just seeing if any of members here have ran one and gathering opinions and info. Thanks.

I have been running alien cowls on my twin 300XS Skater for years. First had Nass cowls in fiberglass and just switched to CDR's in carbon. No need to flash the ECU - it really does not do much for performance anyway. The stock ECU makes up for the small change in air quantity. I would highly recommend getting the plenum and drain tubes, though. CDR's are truly jewelry in carbon.
