Jet boats built w/o wood stringers ??
My buddy and I have a mid-1970's Elliminator bubble deck with a set-back Berk 12JG, Place, etc. Running an unknown BBC, headers, tunnel ram, 2x4 carbs, etc. Sea trials will be this coming week after a few repairs here and there. Pics to come after it goes in the water and actually runs on the lake ...
Was apparently a roundy-round boat as it had mid-hull fins (a pair knife edged) about 6" deep. The fin plate was whacked, so that had to be straightened and reset. I cut the fins down to 3"+ so it would go on the trailer w/o a pit crew ... We will not be racing it.
But, in doing the work, I noticed that the stringers were all glass. Ditto the transom. No wood until you get to the forward bulkhead. And that looks like an add-on (maybe to comply with a rule change ...).
Anyway, it got me to thinking about other brands that built jets and maybe did not have wood cored stringers and transoms ??
Anyone know of any?

Seems that besides Elliminator, Dana Boats also had all fiberglass stringers. Have not been able to verify that yet ...
