Looking for a 26-28 v4 prop
Anybody know where I can find a 26 to 28 pitch that fits a 13 spline evinrude? I'm running a 24 raker now spinning 6k on a 1400lb bass boat. I'm moving the motor to a 650lb carlson. Probably gonna need some more prop.

As far as I remember, a 24p was the biggest I could find for 13 spline. You can bring the prop you have to a prop shop and have them add some pitch.
You could get a bigger prop in 15 spline and have the hub changed to a 13 spline. That might cause clearance issues because the 15 spline props are bigger diameter. Be sure to check before you run it.
You could change the prop shaft in your lower to a 15 spline.
Or you can change the gears in your lower unit. Likely you have a 2/1 and can go lower for higher top speed.
I would try getting the prop you have worked on by a good shop. I also run a 24p raker and it is a great prop in my opinion. If that did not work I would change the prop shaft to a 15 spline as there are a lot of used props out there in 15 spline. 13, not so much.Last edited by SS Minnow; 05-23-2020 at 05:24 PM.

I used to have a 16 Baja with a 150 HO. A 26 small ear chopper,re-hubbed for Evinrude ran 67. It took a long time spinning 5000 rpm to plane. A 27” X 13 dia Hoss copy rolled onto a plane easily and also ran 67. I think the Hoss copy was a Hill. I borrowed it. A 24 Raker was 64 mph on the rev limiter
you could look for a small ear, contact Ron Hill, or try DAH
