    Which I thought is bullchit
That's where I came in and we did little horse trading and I took the chance on it , even if it couldn't be fixed I still got the better deal. I'm pretty excited about gettin it all fixed up , poor boy never owned one , I think it will work good on little cmate

When I had my case done at the Aluminum Dr. Think it was around $300.00. He machines out the thread area then presses in a threaded aluminum insert and welds it.

Take it from me if the nut slips when running hard you will be buying a new propshaft.

Nothin looks tore up. Looks like its just missin carrier nut. He said last time it was in water ,it didnt wanna go in gear and when he put oil in it he seen carrier move outward, well if it dont have the nut on it then all that makes since , threads r still there

1 more thing , there carrier does not look like it turned at all , keyway still there and locked in ,

    Bill,
Charlie and Ed at River Marine do an annual on my Sporty every year and have replaced a couple of propshafts and Driveshafts over the last 22 years. They are very honest and do great work.
