    Need pixs of T4 champ exhusthsng

    Need to see IF and How they did it..... Just use a 2.0 hsgn or cast up a special one ???? Thanks ahead of time Spacey Guy with all the Pixs………

    ...it was not a modified 2 litre housing. it was unique to the larger 3.4 litre engine. all the different mid's (consumer, offshore, racing) were unique to the 3.4.

    3.4 Mid Machining

    This sounds like it was a machining change (bolt patterns)? The casting (in general) appears to be the same. I assume the new mid section case that came out a few years later (horse snout outlet?) definitely was not compatible with the 3.4L?

    Champ & 3.4L Mid Sections

    Who ever did the layout and design for either one of the cases got a "D" for the block stud pockets. Can't remember how many times I cursed that I couldn't get a ratchet socket in these pockets rather than a ground down box wrench? I thought the "studs down" change on the newer style case was dumb too.
