    I have heard over the years there was some "less than truthful" things a foot here from Mercury. Maybe changing powerheads and seals without the inspectors knowing about it?? I am sure there are several guys on here that know for sure but they would probably have to kill us if they told us.

    Good old video. Had to be boring for the drivers. Anyone interested in the history of Mercury needs to read Iron Fist. Very large book that is hard to put down.

    as a dry sump system, it actually would be quite simple to rig-up for underway oil change(s)...but I understand the humor in what your saying...lol

    I wish my 05 15 had an odometer, the ring gap was .047 when I took it down and that thing saw 7k for 30- 90 miles wide open and hundreds of hours trolling.
