Hoping everyone got everything they wanted to get done on their boat during the shutdown and are ready for our first race!! Our first race will be next Saturday, June 6th at Menominee Park in Oshkosh. The race is scheduled for 11am. A mandatory, modified drivers meeting is at 10:15a. As you can imagine, there are some guidelines we will be having to follow per the City of Oshkosh permit. City of Oshkosh has denied the request of having a food truck, so please bring own refreshments and meals. There are two things we are requesting to be followed. Pens will not be provided for registration. Please bring your own. And while at the ramp, people will have to stay in their vehicle and let the 2 UMBPA ramp volunteers load and unload the boats. The drivers meeting will be modified. Details will be given to each racer at registration. We ask that social distance guidelines be followed.
Registration will be at the landing at Menominee park from 6p to 8p on Friday and 8:30a to 10a on Saturday. Brats will be provided at Friday night registration! Registration will close at 10a sharp on Saturday so brackets can be formed. Please utilize the online membership form to expedite your registration. Even with membership form, everyone needs to do race registration. Membership forms will also be available at registration. As a reminder, everyone will have a two digit number that they will keep for the whole race year.
Please see previous emails and Facebook posts for any rule changes for this racing year including course length. Help is needed to make this event successful!! Below is a list of places we need volunteers. Please call/text Brett at (920) 850-1427 or Facebook message with questions or if you can help out! We typically have a hard time finding enough volunteers, so please consider helping out!
Start Boat Michelle, Scott, and 1 more person
Finish Boat 1 person
Boat Ramp 2 people dedicated. Can be split up between 4 people, but need to have dedicated ramp people
Registration 6-8pm Brett and Ryan

Put out start and finish boats 2 people

Make sure to do a thorough check on Hanle's boat. He's had all winter to think of ways to cheat. I'd suggest a prostate exam also, never underestimate the lengths hell go to to cheat. Find a nursing student that also wrestles in the heavyweight division to perform the exam. Or Richy Latter, he likes doing that stuff.
Congrats on pulling it off. Stay safe, have fun.

Shout out to Chris A
I will be at this UMPBA event at Menominee park on Saturday 6/6/20.
My cell phone went DOA. I have lost all my contacts to the cloud.
I believe this is your turf, If you want to visit give me a call. My number still works.
