You are a smart man look at it this way it would be millions killed in the US alone if this stupid shut down **** did not go on because we did not have real testing available, no way to keep track of things with out real test. I believe if everyone was forced to wear a mask we should have football games come back with any sport just make people wear protection.
I don't feel that worried but I know everyone over 70 is scared to death my brother who was never scared of anything does not want to leave the house or have anyone come over to do any work he is 75 with heart issues.

I can comment on our state, Ohio and what’s going on here.

1. At the onset of this, our weasel governor (a RINO) went in TV every day with Amy Acton, our medical expert told us if we didn’t listen to them, 10k people a day would die.
At that point I knew she was a whack job.
Shes basically telling us the state of Ohio will lose a small town every day.
As of now, after their expertise, the mortality rate is 2 1/2 times higher than the start.
Thank God we have our government protecting us.
There are more shootings/killings in our state than the 5 - 10 from the virus.

2. I’ve done the math every morning when they post the #s.
Since day 1.
Fatalities divided x cases = mortality rate.
Started at under 2% and locked us in.
After a month and now including “probable” cases and deaths we’re now @ 5.2%?

3. We have a prison in our county w/a huge case outbreak, approx 2k, that has made Ohio a hot spot.
If you remove them we’re not even on the map.
Heres the kicker, a buddies wife works at the lab doing their testing.
She says they’re all testing positive but showing no symptoms!
Annnnnnnddddd, they’re freagin locked up!
How are they a threat to our elderly?

4. We are now seeing Dr after Dr on TV saying they were pressured into putting Covid 19 on death certificates when they didn’t want to.

5. When we lock up, we prevent the transfer of antibodies which fight the virus.
So how about that second freagin wave!

6. It is documented that millions of Chinese have flown in/out of Ca yet they have an abnormally low case count.
Meaning the Californians built an immunity to it??

7. The dems have spent 3 1/2 yrs and billions of $ trying to get rid of Trump and now they have a new weapon to use and they are.

8. Our government has more control over us than anytime in history.
More than WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Great Depression, the Great Recession etc.

9. Most of the politicians shouting orders and threats at us have never even pumped their own gas.
Lived in a budget.
Been broke.
Changed the oil in their car.

Had to protect their family.

10. AOC is on record has telling her sheep to not go back to work, as protest for poor pay.

I live in Michigan and have a business (for now) in Wisconsin. The MI gov is trying to extend stay at home orders until late June. State parks and campgrounds closed, no traveling to your second home or to friends or relatives homes. She did lift the restriction on powerboats, which should have never been in place to begin with. Another law she decried was that stores can force you to wear a face mask or deny you entry. Small businesses are still closed and the stories of permanent closures are starting to surface. A butcher/deli just announced that there closure will be permanent. Cannot stay closed and they were ordered closed.

The WI gov has opened state parks and campgrounds but public bathrooms will not be opened. Anybody wanna guess how that will work out? He is also trying to extend the stay at home orders until the end of May, but state congress is pushing back because by statute he can only enforce the order for 60 days, which ends May 11. Of course the gov is fighting this in court, surprise surprise. Supposedly the reported number of infected is spiking two counties over, but that might be because they just started testing for it, so of course the case number will spike. Duh!!

The majority of my income is from rentals. So far nobody has been late or called me to tell me they will be late in the near future. I hope it does not happen, but if they contact me I am more then willing to help figure something out. My taxes are still due, along with insurance, water bills and oh yeah mortgage payments. There is currently no evictions allowed and people know that. The numbers of infected are going up locally, but again, they are just starting to test for it here. We are 60 days into this and if the governors of both states have it their way, we will be closed until the election has passed, maybe even longer depending on how that goes. Strange times.

I find the to be a load of bull.. anyone out if work is making more on unemployment...in NYC you have the idiot AOC telling them nit to pay their rent..again making enough to pay it..most are know there are some but not 3/4 of the city!!!

Yeah, the area I am in is not the same as the Michigan where Nit-Whitmer is calling the shots. It is also very different from the majority of mid sized cities in Wisconsin. For the most part, our factories are deemed essential with the areas largest employer being a ship yard with massive gov contracts. The only thing really effected here are the small businesses, and that is sad as they are the ones I patronize when possible. My butcher and deli announced the other day they were shutting down for good. That is where I bought all my meat and cold cuts from. They were the best. Two small bar/grill places are closing as well. Their food was better then Applebees or Chilis by far, no question. Will miss them.

I guess I just got lucky with the tenants I chose to rent too. I have had some bad in the past and learned quickly how to deal with them and spot them when they apply. The biggest problem I have now is with neighbors, their tenants and guests but I am learning to deal with that as well. They say that good fences make for good neighbors, well, I can say that it very much indeed helps. My biggest problems with neighbors have been their animals (dogs and cats) and their lack of being able to control their trash or clean it up when the wind takes it for a ride. Luckily we do not have any local politicians outright telling people to not pay their rent or to not go back to work. AOC is a whack job and hopefully nothing more than a painful memory after November. Outright telling people to not pay their rent or to not go back to work? OMG!!!!!!!!

I had a complaint from a tenant this past Saturday. It was 76 degrees here, and they had opened the windows for some air. The smell from the neighbors yard was unbearable as there was a strong wind from that direction. So I go out to see what is going on. There was so much dog crap in the corner of the yard where they tie the dog up, it was unbelievable. The poor dog, was a young yellow lab, likely a X-mas puppy judging by size. Dog was tied to a ground stake with about a 15 foot rope. In that circle there was almost no visible area where there was no crap, or the grass was not yellow from piss. So I go and knock on their door, introduce myself, why I am there. The local law is very specific on cleaning up after pets, as in it must be done immediately as it happens. I also tell them I do not want to involve the police, but if this not handled in a timely fashion, I will involve law enforcement. I do not like to do that, but man, clean up after your animals or do not keep animals. It stank something terrible, I felt bad for the dog. And my tenants of course. First nice day where you could open the windows and the smell was putrid.

Well that's good you have mostly good tenants...when showing rentals here have to be real careful the laws here are a joke. Just the one that really pissed me off was that if you have to evict a tenant ..YOU have to make sure they can find and afford another place!!!??? You have to take any kind of housing assistance for payment and some others..Had to evict someone last year and luckily he turned into a complete moron(think he got a lawyer that helped illegals?) ,while in court offered to give him 4 months to get caught up(judge looked over and asked the lawyer was that right was willing to give him 4 months? Jugde thought that was overly nice) the judge looked at him and said would he be able to do that he looked at the judge with a straight face said he only got a new job 4 months ago and didn't feel he should have to pay the judge asked him what his hardship was he said he had a car payment and then was incoherent..judge asked him was he going to start paying rent and catch up again straight face no he didn't want to he shouldn't have to..?!? luckily judge didn't think that was except able told him you can't just live in someone's house free..told him had 30 days and was getting annoyed told only reason he didn't tell him he had to get out today was the law says 30 days...


And the animals..Can't stand people like that.. makes you want to tie them to the stake and leave them there in the piles of crap..
If you can't take care of a pet don't get one.
