300xs Rebuild
Picked up a 2006 300xs that leaned out #6 and hurt itself.
Got it torn down to the bare powerhead this morning.
Going to probably sleeve the bad cylinder, deglaze the other 5 and put new bearings and rings throughout. Luckily the head is fine. Not sure if I should trust the carbon fiber reeds or order new?

So I'm torn between a new sleeve and a known good used picton from a member here, boring just #6 (which I've never liked the idea of just replacing one over sized piston even though the weigh the same and are balanced) or boring all of them and replacing all the pistons.

Coming from a automotive background I never liked the idea going one size over and the rest standard bore. I decided to try it and had no issues also heard guys with couple cylinder oversize with no issues.
Inspect other pistons for wear and sticking rings if all fine I'd reuse them

Bobby is that your motor or a customer? I might be looking to trade my drop on 300x for a 300xs.

Bobby,
That mota won't fit on the princess's 4 - Wheel drive monster truck …
That 1194 sleeve has a couple area's that need a little TLC ..
The start / stop tool path doesn't overlap when they cut the ports .. so you get these spikes in the corner's that really should get rolled back .
Cell phone , pick's can be a little distorted ( or maybe it's my old eyes ) but make sure the machinist gave you enough chamfer on the rest of the port(s) …
Motor looks sweet .. that one should be a lot of fun … faster Daddy faster ..
