    EFI 225 promax quickleen

Have any of you guys used quickleen in 225 promax? I'm not having any injector issues but the engine is 22 years old and I've never had the injectors cleaned. I've always ran BP premium fuel with seafoam and klotz. I also wondered if it would get rid of carbon build up on the piston?

Your basically running cleaner through all the time so I doubt it would change anything. Unless your doing the vst quickleen treatment.

chunks of carbon on the piston yes. But theirs always a fresh layer of carbon on the piston.

Its a bandaid fix at best. You might clean a bit of varnish out, but your not cleaning the filters, and not really diagnosing the injector at all. It's a feel good thing. Drop some in, you feel good, but as far as TRULY cleaning them, you need to send them out.

Another good reason to send them out to be cleaned.
