Apparently these produce close to 280 horse each(model year was stronger?). I have been in the boat at 100- low fuel, etc.

Nice boat but price is way out of line, that hull can be bought new for 45k with trailer and interior from Hellkat powerboats. Add on motors and rigging and I think it’s still less than your asking and that’s for a BRAND NEW boat. No offense but might sit for a long time at that price.

Nice looking ride, but quite pricey considering the fact that they're now selling brand new specter hulls for around $40k without power including trailer and upholstery. Would you be interested in the $50k range?

This boat is newer and appears to be a lot nicer than the spectre performance boat center has for sale for a similar price.

Ur numbers are way off. He will sell a hull with interior and trailer for 45k. Add on 25k for a used set of 300xs. And rigging for that boat is not 20k. U can have that boat new for 80-90k with USED motors and everything else NEW. How in the world do you think a 14 year old boat with 250’s is worth 80k? Absurd especially with the economy taking a hit. By the way just because performance boat center is asking a similar number for a boat DOES not mean that’s what they are worth. They overprice all boats they sell which is why that spectre that they have for 79k is still for sale. It’s worth what somebody is willing to pay plain and simple and nobody is willing to pay anywhere near 80k for those particular boats. From the picture on your profile it seems like you have a similar boat so you might be trying to justify the numbers for when it’s time for you to sell yours but unfortunately this is just a hard dose of reality.

Appreciate your input, but if we want to debate boat prices, let's take it to another thread.

It's easy to put money into these boats, and respectfully a new boat is going to cost way more than the numbers you are quoting. I bought a "mint" 28 skater last year and dumped $20k into it to get it right. Adds up quick.

My friend has way more into the boat than he's asking. Hopefully it goes to a good owner!

I agree with cowisl. Makes me wonder if you all drive around car lots in your home town and pull in there to tell them they are asking too much when you have no intentions on buying? If you don't like his price keep looking no need to sabotage his for sale thread. Also, there is no way you gonna build that with a new hull etc for the asking price. I feel Greg should monitor these for sale threads more closely. Not too many people want to put up with the BS and will end up selling there stuff on FB like everyone else is now. Good luck with the sale.

Yep, has the early version "gold block" 250 XS's. Nice boat. Was in it in Sarasota years ago when he first bought it.
