Been on the boat all week. First test run went pretty good. After playing with jack plate heights and trim settings we found a decent spot. Running a 26p raker HO currently. First day it seemed bow heavy so I took the subs out (80lbs) next day we threw some vests on and really aired it out. We’re able to hit 75mph at 6,010 rpm pretty close to limiter. I plan on finding a 30p pro max To try bad break into the 80s! Got the seadek on as well. This thing laughs at the chop. The g2 makes some great power too. The whole shot is incredible. Super nice to be able to switch from hand to foot throttle also

Great job. Looks super cool.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

Getting the lettering ordered up. This is the rendering of what it should look like. Took 2 others out the other night and it definitely flew the bow better with a person in back. 50% trim is the neutral point. I’m driving at 80% trim most of the time. I plan on adding 4” of setback on the jack plate. Im currently at 10” of setback with the built in 4” of the g2 plus my 6” jack. 14” should be a good spot I’m thinking, hopefully will move CG back so I don’t have to trim it so much to fly the bow.

You seem to have a pretty complete garage set up. If you have a lift why not put a sling under it and move it up off the trailer a few inches until you find the CG? Easy to do if you are equipped and may shorten the experiments.

So far I’ve put about 30 hours on the boat in the past month of using it . I plan on adding more setback still. Got the windshield bracket powder coated and on. Don’t mind the residue on the boat. Also got the lettering in and installed. Picked up an engine cover and waiting on the full custom cover still. Next project will be foot rests . I plan on making moulds and using gelcoat and glass to make some boxes. More to come!

Hit 75.9 gps today by myself on the limiter . Best I’m gonna get with this prop I’m thinking. Was able to start the moulds for the foot braces. Started with 1/2” mdf and made simple triangle boxes to the shape I wanted. Making sure to taper them towards the top to make it easy to release. Then laid my tape lines down to ease clean up. Using bondo and a 1.25” pipe to create my radius. Far as I got tonight

Great job !!!! I complement you on your work skills an craftsmanship....top notch......I've been looking to see where my old boat ended up. I bought it from them original owner back in 87'.....He used to power sail with his kids an kids got older an went to school so he decided to sell it. That boat has been across Long Island sound a number of times to Connecticut an back, Lake George plenty off times the hole length, Lake Wallenpaupack in PA.... then I sold it to a friend of mine he used a couple of years up at George an he sold it an it disappeared then I seen it on here down Florida an tried to reach out to him but didn't here back. Now I have a 22 Apache restoring so I figure I'd log on an see what everyone is doing an bang!! there's the old floater...lol I could tell by the painted on shadow logo....my friend shot the old Imron on it in 92....lots a luck with it...I had a blast with it,for sure.
