Cleats are mounted and ready. Went with a 6” accon pop up. So this is the 3rd cleat I’ve had in this boat. As you can see I’m very indecisive 🤡😅. Also having a full cover made. Hopefully get the floor done soon and fire it up after I bleed the steering.

Bench is done. Sanded floor back down to primer and reprimed and spray a single reduced layer of raptor liner. I like the durability of it over Gelcoat. I only sprayed 4mils worth of coating roughly. Figured it would be even easier to sand off than a thick layer of gel if a repair was ever needed. I only prayed around where seadek willl be going, rest of floor and bulkheads and bilge remain white.

How far of a reach is that paddle switch attached to the helm with your set up? I ran into that myself using a seastar helm. You need to take your hand off the wheel to reach it, Those are made for their own Uflex helm where they mount up closer to wheel. I am making a spacer to move it out.

I just added a strip of rubber between it and the helm so I could move it closer a bit and it would still tighten down.

The original panels cracked when I dropped one. It was a bad design, the the pvc board I made too narrow of a piece by the cubby/speaker. That left it very weak. So I redesigned and built new panels. Just finished covering them.

Do you know how heavy did that panel turn out using the PVC board?

    Looks great and won't rot

13 pounds each. That’s using 1/2” foam. 3/8” pvc board. 5/16 2” bolts with 2” fender washers and a T nut on the back to hold them in.
